Join our co-owner Paul on Thursday, October 10, for a day-long excursion into stoneware glazing on three stoneware pieces for your kitchen and be the first to slip cast your own stoneware 7″ Christmas tree with base. That’s right! You will assemble and strap the mold, pour the stoneware slip, and remove your tree from the mold. We’ll clean the rough edges with clay tools, allow them to dry, fire the trees, then stain them with glazes. The three kitchen pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup one week later. When you pick up the three pieces, your tree will be ready for glazing, as we have to allow for drying time and first firing.
You will choose between a 9″ x 9″ x 3″ casserole dish or a 14″ pizza stone. To complete your three-piece kitchen set, all participants will also have an 11″ dinner plate and an 8 1/2″ salad plate.
Bring a lunch and drinks as we will start at 9 am and finish around 3 pm with a 45-minute lunch break. Only three spots are available! The cost is $199 (non-refundable); all stoneware, glazes, tools, and firing are included. Registration is required.https://pottery-perfection.square.site/product/stoneware-camp-with-paul/7740?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=true&q=false&fbclid=IwY2xjawFSry5leHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHXgGfHuJn7-1eZR4piEJTMsyqvdoJqaHTMXEEAVyp4jHGjH9nt_Swbz8oA_aem_lIJaPzmybPX0FbR4InDGxg
