Paint Me a Story is our art and literacy program for children aged 2-12. Our guest reader will read a selected story, and then the children paint a corresponding piece of pottery. On Tuesday, September 17 (5:30-7 pm), we welcome our guest reader of the month, Denny Fetzer, branch manager of Huntington Bank. Denny will read “The Magic Rabbit” by Richard Jesse Watson. Join the fun as a very unusual rabbit discovers the wonders of a mysterious hat and his own imagination. Presto! He makes frogs jump, mice scurry, and a flutter of birds fly up into the sky. One surprise leads to another, until finally, it’s the best trick ever…finding a friend to share your adventures is the greatest magic of all! After the story is read, the kids will paint an adorable ceramic figurine, Buckaroo The Bunny, as a keepsake of the event. The cost of this event is $15 (non-refundable) per child. We are a participating ACE provider!
