Paint Me a Story is our art and literacy program for children ages 2-12. Our guest reader will read a story, and then the children will paint a corresponding piece of pottery. For this month’s PMAS, we are thrilled to have Mike Mezinger as our guest reader. Mike has served 27 years with the Fremont Fire Department, including as Captain. For the past two years, he has been serving as Community Affairs Officer. In this position, he teaches fire safety. Mike will be reading “Benjamin Rabbit and the Fire Chief.” After the story is read, the children will paint “Buckaroo The Bunny,” an adorable ceramic rabbit figurine. The cost of this event is $15 (non-refundable). Ace grants are applicable for this event.
