Join us for this special February edition of Homeschool Shindig! Our homeschool students will be making Squishmallow figures out of clay! We will teach the kids step-by-step how to work with clay and create their favorite Squishmallow figures. Since this project involves clay the entire process will take several weeks to complete. Once the kids have created their clay figures they will leave them at the studio so that we can fire them in a kiln. This will take about a week. The students may then return at their earliest convenience and paint their fired pottery. A second firing will be necessary once the clay is painted which will take another week. Students have until the next homeschool shindig in March to complete and pick up their finished clay projects. We will not hold them past this time. February’s Homeschool Shindig will cost $20 per student (non-refundable). Register in advance to save your spot and be sure to use your Ohio ACE Grant to be reimbursed.
